I’ve founded four companies and raised more than $3 million in venture capital and nonprofit grants. I’m a three time grantee of the John S. and James L. Knight Foundation for Facebook-based, open source community software. I led the capture of missing writer Evan Ratliff in Wired Magazine’s Vanish contest.
I’m an eight year Microsoft veteran. I helped lead the MSN News and MSNBC.com launches as Group Program Manager. I’m an experienced Program Manager, Software Architect and Web Developer with expertise in cloud-based services, PHP, MySQL, & Ruby on Rails.
I’m a published writer with expertise in technology, nonprofits, Microsoft and social investing.
I’m also a certified yoga teacher and a graduate of Off the Mat Into the World’s Advocacy and Leadership training. I’m founder of two not for profit coffeehouses in Seattle and co-op investor in Equal Exchange. I also volunteer teach yoga in Seattle to at risk youth through Street Yoga.
